The piece was created at Ljubljana Street Art Festival 2023.in collaboration with artist Elina Holley who is also a member of G-Rex street art guild.
How to make an impact and inspire through public art? This was the question we were asking while designing a 9 × 4 m mural for the 2023 Ljubljana Street Art Festival. We chose organic graphic forms, aesthetics of joy and an empowering and hopeful message open to interpretation: E V O L V E / L O V E. Change is always an opportunity.
The mural is now part of the Metelkova Autonomous Cultural Centre creating a sense of belonging for the local community. The execution of the piece—a simplified, modern style with bright colors—stands out positively against the visual cacophony of the area.
